Aside from the availability of the story, which is great, I can’t gush enough about how great it’s been to work with the fine folks at The Red Penny Papers. I hope I’ll get the chance to publish with them again in the future.

Cool, I liked the story, and I was glad to read it for free. How is RPP a paying market if the stories are free? Adds?
I need another writing project like I need a kick in the teeth (so, according to Pam, I need one at least a little bit). As a result, I both appreciate your posts of deadlines each month…and dread it a tiny bit. Maybe it’ll make me write something fictive – who knows?

I’m not privy to RPP’s accounting so I honestly have no idea how they pay for stories. I don’t see any ads on the website though, so maybe they have a mysterious wealthy benefactor? 😛
I’m glad someone’s at least reading the deadlines! Even if you never get around to submitting anything for any of them, it’s good to know that there are so many places out there paying for work!
