In case you can’t tell from the review, Chicon 7 was quite possibly the most fun I’ve ever had at a convention. It was expensive, but well worth the cost, not just in enjoyment and silly pictures with Jacqueline Carey, but also in contacts made and networking achieved. I found out that I’m a lot braver and more motivated than I ever thought when my writing career is in question. And that discovery was, frankly, priceless.
